Key Responsibilities

• Represent GERS in civil cases and assist in court preparations.
• Draft and review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed reports on policy matters.
• Organize training sessions to elevate legal understanding among GERS staff.
• Collaborate on legal strategies and prepare materials for board discussions.
• Investigate legal matters and support witness interviews with confidentiality.

Qualifications

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Licensure

• Active member of the Virgin Islands Bar Association for at least three years.

Experience in public pension systems is preferred.
